Below is information on the different classes that we offer throughout the year for youth.
Spring After School Clinic
This is a once a week class that is held after school in early spring. This gives participants the opportunity to get a head start on golf and the life skills curriculum that they go through in the summer. Depending on the weather, classes are held indoors or outdoors at Sycamore Learning Center.
Each camp day will have a different theme that activities will focus around. Coaches will conduct lessons that target specific areas of participants’ golf games while bringing in drills or games that emphasize character qualities such as Sportsmanship, Honesty, Respect and Perseverance. Healthy snacks and water will be provided each day.
This is the main programming that we offer throughout the year. Classes are offered at different locations and there are a variety of free programs that are offered to youth golfers just for being a part of our program.
During classes, youth golfers will learn and apply various life skills and healthy habits through the game of golf. The life skills are the main focus of our programming and the game of golf is the method in which we deliver the information. Youth golfers will gain golf knowledge and skills as they progress through the program to become a Player for Life.
Tee it Up Nights
This opportunity gives participants the chance to put the skills they have learned in class into practice at The Falcon Golf Course once a week. This is available to all participants regardless age or skill level. Participants will get the opportunity to play as many or as few holes they desire in the time provided.
Fall After School Clinic
This is a once a week class that is held after school in the fall after our summer classes are over. This gives participants the opportunity to continue practicing golf as long as possible. Depending on the weather, classes are held indoors or outdoors at Sycamore Learning Center.
